Another parcial gut job. This house was bult around the turn of the last century. It is in the front yard of the Kentucky State Capitol building. We wanted to return it to it's original glory. Marble floors, lots of chrome, a tile design from years ago, wainscotting and a vanity right out of the 20s. Fun project!!

Powder Room Redeux

Our first bathroom remodel! We replaced the floor tile, baseboards, toilet, vanity, counter top, all the fixtures, wall mirror and repainted. Although it was a very successful remodel, (in our opinion it was riddled with challenges and we went over our original budget. We had wanted to simply refinish the cabinet, but upon discovering water damage we opted to replace it instead. We also had to replace the toilet because it was grouted to the floor and subsequently cracked while we were attempting to remove it. All I need to do now is decorate. :]
