  • The Tuscan Copper Room and Library, After a faux finish, replacing the stairway and adding millwork and trim this bland room really came to life. In addition, we redid the library off this room with a bit more exotic feel without going too far from the feel of the rest of the house.

Kudos to our design artist Michele Dawn who did the beautiful painting, faux finishes of the walls and furniture. Find more about her at http://micheledawndesigns.com/, Living Spaces

  • Wasted kitchen space turning Dining Room!, Well, we had this terrible, disfunctional space on the end of our kitchen, so we did a little remodeling, removed some of the only storage the house boasted (to the horror of our families) and ended up with a bargain basement dining room that is rather like pleasing eye candy. • Inexpensive Kitchen makeover, 11x13 Kitchen built in 1965. The countertops were updated with laminate (granite look) in 2005. This new re-do could've been completed within 1-2 weeks if I didn't work outside the home and cost less then $1000. The 2 biggest expenses were glass tiles at $13.88 a square, approx. $300, and the new hardware from Ikea, about $200. 3 Hanging pendants to cover canned lights totaled $75, paint about $80, mirrors $20 and sink with faucet $260. , Kitchens

  • St. Vincent de Gore Theater, Garage space converted into a home theater. We did it all from walls out, including the design of the 'rock' walls. Backstory for the room is that it is a converted dungeon, hence the NeoGoth look, and the name comes from our mutual fondness for Vincent Price and going to the local St. Vincent de Paul thrift stores as children., Home Theaters
