  • Laundry hallway closet, I recently completed a pretty indepth upstairs renovation. We transformed a laundry room into a guest bath and a bonus room into 2 bedrooms. My biggest obstacle was what to do with my laundry room. The result was really the only option I could think of that made sense...I moved the washer and dryer into a hallway closet. The key to the function of this design was the sliding glass doors that I found online at the Sliding Glass Door Co. and the custom shelves from local organization company. Without them I would have been stuck with tiny, cramped area full of wasted space with typical ugly bi-fold doors. , Closets & Utility

  • Tuscan Style Heavenly Kitchen!!!!!, I tell my husband almost everyday how much I love my new kitchen - which he "built" for me! I had the typical 60's or 70's kitchen which only had enough space for one cook and where you felt isolated from the rest of the home. We demolished a cinder block wall that kept me divided and lonely from the dining/living area and created this fabulous Great Room. Now, when we have gatherings, everyone always sits around the huge island in the center. Couldn't be more thrilled!!!!!, Kitchens

  • Living Room Renovation, This project was a complete home renovation. This living room was outdated with green carpet and small sliding doors that led to a sun porch which made the space feel very dark. We added a wall of doors to the sun porch which brought in natural light. We also added a hallway with built-ins and a powder room that leads to the kitchen. This really enhanced the traffic pattern throughout the first floor. The stair case was also completely rebuilt., Living Spaces

  • casual chic dining, This room is the first one you see when you enter my house so I wanted it to be beautiful. I love chandeliers, and I love dark woods. I went monochromatic and started with the chair fabric, then went on from there. I know the chandelier is too low, but I hung it before I added the crystals and they were very long!! I just haven't had the desire to move everything and get it raised... maybe soon :), Dining Rooms

  • The Tuscan Copper Room and Library, After a faux finish, replacing the stairway and adding millwork and trim this bland room really came to life. In addition, we redid the library off this room with a bit more exotic feel without going too far from the feel of the rest of the house.

Kudos to our design artist Michele Dawn who did the beautiful painting, faux finishes of the walls and furniture. Find more about her at http://micheledawndesigns.com/, Living Spaces

  • Nightmare Closet Becomes Dream Dressing Room!, I am naturally a bit messy so I wanted to create a closet that was highly organized and worked based on how I used things on an every day basis. The deep green color on the wall is the accent wall color in my bedroom and this closet sits right next to that wall so it worked out perfectly! I put a "closet within a closet" behind mirrored doors and hide stuff I don't use behind those doors. I put a stool in the closet so I can dress and undress (and put on my shoes) in there. I really love the new space!, Closets & Utility
