• THAT BIGSCREEN TV, In the world of high tech, everyone wants a big screen Hd tv.Well we like our bigscreen projection tv just fine for now but wanted to make it look more modern. The first room we have decided to tackle in our 1950 Cape fixer is the media room.My husband is the guy I think can do it all and even though he has never made anything like this,I knew he could. We took out a full closet and set the bigscreen on a pedestal. He then built a cabinet around it and like magic, the back dissappeared and it has a new look. Please give us your imput. This is the first cabinet has ever made.Took about 4 weeks but we are pleased.Plus if he has some decent feedback,It just may give him the motivation to make me those kitchen cabinets I want. Thanks!!!!, Home Theaters

  • Transitional Kitchen Remodel, This newly updated transitional kitchen started out in desperate need of a makeover. My team and I went in and took out the wallpaper, painted the walls a rich grey, created a custom one level island, modified the existing cabinets, added granite, updated the lighting, added cabinet hardware, and completed the look with a few simple accessories.

The space is now sleek, sophisticated, and more functional. The best part is that it feels much more spacious without the busy wallpaper. The client is happier than ever, and her dream kitchen is no longer a dream, but a reality., Kitchens

  • Master Bathroom Overhaul, Complete remodel of master bathroom. Removed bathtub, tile, ceiling, vanity, window coverings, and mirrors. Basically gutted the entire area.

We then framed a walk-in shower, installed new tile, and set a new (taller) custom granite vanity. Plantation shutters were installed on the moderate sized window. The closet was also gutted to accommodate shoe storage and his and her lockers., Bathrooms

  • From French Country Kitsch to French Country Elegance, We decided to overhaul our severely outdated and equally tiny kitchen and ended up adding 300 sq ft to our house, improving our kitchen, dining room and outside space. We lived in our house during the process. The process affected most of our first floor and I found myself pregnant with a two year old, living with my husband in one room-doing dishes in the hall bathroom and grilling dinner on our driveway. We extended our kitchen, added a pantry, breakfast area, bar area and reconfigured our dining room and the layout of our deck. , Kitchens

  • Carr Bathroom Renovation, The Carrs decided to make a great change in there master bathroom. And after asking around for contractor referrals, GC was suggested by a neighbor and interior decorator Cindy Easley. With computer in hand we went to work. The design presented a few problems. First they had a beautiful barrel ceiling (which was not accented) flanked by soffits. The soffits were small and also lacked definition. Second when you got in the shower, it felt like you just stepped into a telephone both. Once the design was finished GC had a roomy glass shower to build, complete with a steam unit. After deciding on a tile ceiling for the half barrel and built in tub unit the only thing left was to choose a custom built in cabinet set to finish the new Master bath. Needless to say this was a hugh transformation. The before and after shots are amazing., Bathrooms

  • Beautiful white kitchen, It all started with wanting to cut-up cabinets, move them around, piece them back together & paint white. My father makes custom cabinets and wanted no part of my "cut & paste project", and thought we should gut the whole kitchen. We had just moved into this fixer-upper & gutting the kitchen wasn't even near the top of the to-do list. Somehow we found a deal on everything- It took alot of research & holding-out for what I wanted. In the end, it's more beautiful than I imagined it to be. PS- my father doesn't know how very talented he is. Thank you Dad!, Kitchens

  • Updated master bedroom suite with fireplace, We recently updated our master bedroom. My husband tore out the existing ceiling and put in a coffered ceiling to give the room an illusion of more size. He built bookcases and cabinetry to showcase the addition of a fireplace. With the addition of elegant lighting and draperies the room has exceeded our expectations. We decorated the room using a monochromatic theme to give it a warm and comfortable "hotel suite" feel. , Bedrooms

  • Hotel Chic, In 2008 an extension was added to this small country home thus allowing the clients to redesign the main floor with a larger master suite, housing a separate vanity, and a bathroom filled with technology, elegance and luxury.
Although the existing space was acceptable, it did not reflect the charismatic character of the clients, and lacked breathing space.
By borrowing the ineffective space from their existing “entrance court” and removing all closets thus permitting for a private space to accommodate a large vanity with Jack and Jill sinks, a separate bathroom area housing a deep sculptural tub with air massage and hydrotherapy combination, set in a perfect symmetrical fashion to allow the beautiful views of the outdoor landscape, a thin 30” LCD TV, and incorporating a large niche wall for artful accessories and spa products, as well as a private entrance to the large well organized dressing room with a make-up counter. A peaceful, elegant yet highly functional on-suite was created by this young couple’s dream of having a contemporary hotel chic palette inspired by their travels in Paris. Using the classic black and white color combination, a touch of glam, the warm natural color of cherry wood and the technology and innovation brought this retreat to a new level of relaxation.

  • Cramped to Color, The galley kitchen was too tight for 2 cooks and a shepherd. The peninsula cut the room in half and kept us locked into the squashy corner. We expanded along the wall to allow for corner pantry with arched door and blackboard inset. Large island makes better use of space and opens up room. , Kitchens

  • Italian inspired kitchen, I needed to keep my same basic footprint and my appliances were a couple years old and I didn't want to replace them. I did purchase a new stovetop and wine refrigerator. I also kept my same floor which is throughout most of the house and removed the soffits and retextured ceiling and changed the lighting.I did splurge on the quartz countertops, glass tile, travertine backsplash and Grohe faucet., Kitchens

  • Jelly Bean Kitchen, We bought a house with an extremely small kitchen, tin cabinets, wild striped paint which covered the walls and cabinets, old checkered tiled floor, a purple door.

Our plan was to remove a wall, expand the kitchen into the old dining room, build a whole new family room, and use the old living room as our new dining room. Our objective was to create a space that was elegant, functional, and great for entertaining. Tell us if you feel we've created this effect., Kitchens
