We have had so many comments about our tub, I wanted to share the link where we purchased it: http://www.bathtubsfactorydirect.com

  • Master Bathroom Getaway!, Our old master bath was not functional. New bathroom is over twice the size thanks to my handy husband & good friends! It has a soaking jet tub plasma tv 4 person shower w/bench & body sprays and lots of travertine! We opted for only one sink in here.We decided to save on space & didn't ever use 2. I love how it turned out and it is very nice after a long day with the kids to turn on HGTV and soak in that tub! Thanks for looking! Enjoy! My inspiration all comes from HPJ185! , Bathrooms

  • Fresh & inviting bathroom retreat, We updated a late 80's bathroom which had a large jetted tub with tile surround that encompassed most of the bathroom. We used a free standing tub with floor mounted plumbing fixtures. The shower was enclosed and very claustrophobic. We opened it with frameless glass shower doors and beautiful tilework. The mirrors were updated by framing them and the countertops, plumbing and light fixtures were all updated. , Bathrooms

  • Bringing in the yard, Ever since my dad and sister died, mom has been alone. This year, my husband and I drew a picture of what we needed to do with our home to accommodate my mom. We saw LaCatina doors on "the brothers" show and had them installed from the expanded living-room to the screened in porch. We removed the half wall in the kitchen, moved the laundry-room upstairs and
put in a first floor master bedroom and bathroom. Instead of a large retaining wall, he made two with 3ft span, so mom and I will can veggies from our 50ft garden. As a treat, he created a floor to ceiling stone front fire place with reclaimed oak, a beautiful place to sit in the evening., Living Spaces

  • Master bath/spa retreat, The 1980's tract home bathroom was gutted and completely made into a spa-like retreat. Replacing the GIANT jacuzzi tub with a more usable comfortable soaking tub made room for an amazing spa shower with body sprays, steam unit, rain head and bench. The vanity was custom built with drawers that organize make-up and jewelry to alleviate counter-top clutter. There is plenty of counter space and a single wider sink was installed. Brushed nickel hardware was used throughout including the 2 chandeliers and the wall scones. White Carrera Marble was used in and out of the shower in different forms including tumbled mosaics on the floor which is very comfortable on the feet., Bathrooms

  • Hotel Chic, In 2008 an extension was added to this small country home thus allowing the clients to redesign the main floor with a larger master suite, housing a separate vanity, and a bathroom filled with technology, elegance and luxury.
Although the existing space was acceptable, it did not reflect the charismatic character of the clients, and lacked breathing space.
By borrowing the ineffective space from their existing “entrance court” and removing all closets thus permitting for a private space to accommodate a large vanity with Jack and Jill sinks, a separate bathroom area housing a deep sculptural tub with air massage and hydrotherapy combination, set in a perfect symmetrical fashion to allow the beautiful views of the outdoor landscape, a thin 30” LCD TV, and incorporating a large niche wall for artful accessories and spa products, as well as a private entrance to the large well organized dressing room with a make-up counter. A peaceful, elegant yet highly functional on-suite was created by this young couple’s dream of having a contemporary hotel chic palette inspired by their travels in Paris. Using the classic black and white color combination, a touch of glam, the warm natural color of cherry wood and the technology and innovation brought this retreat to a new level of relaxation.

  • Master bath complete redo with walnut and travertine, Our master bath was stuck in the 80's with tarnished brass fixtures and plain old ceramic tile. Small triangle shaped shower in the corner. Out dated vanity with full wall mirror that has seen better days. We removed the ceramic trim around the garden tub and replaced with walnut wood. Removed the old vanity top and replaced with walnut and added two vessel sinks. All the walnut was finished in "Waterlox" to fully protect the wood from any moisture problems. Relocated the commode so that we could have a large walk-in shower. Installed travertine stone around the vanity, garden tub, and walls and floor in the shower. Made a custom corner shower caddy from solid teak finished in "Waterlox" We are really enjoying the fruits of our labor and the 6 months of hard work on nights and weekends are well worth it!! , Bathrooms
