The only thing I see wrong are the white blinds. I would do some chocolate woven roman wood shades with valances attached to them. Also something more substantial on that fireplace mantel.

Do not have the fabric next to the fireplace but do have the rod go completely across the window to give the illusion htat they could draw. Good looking room but too many hard surfaces. Lose the too small piece of art at left of left facing window. Consider decorative drape panels in an inexpensive micro-fiber (passion suede. Perhaps grommeted at the top on stainless or black rods. (Hard to tell from pic which would be best. It appears from te photo that the best color would be a pumkin to pick up the color in the rug(? back pillow of chair and flowers in ottoman.
