About This Remodel

This home was built in the 80's...hence the field stone fireplace. I love the colors in the stone so we've decided to design the room around it. I recently painted the wall in Toffee Crunch by Behr. I am a huge Candice Olson fan so I made the curtains inspired from one of her shows. My husband and I made the red ultrasuede bench to protect the little ones from the fireplace. We are going to build a mantle within the next month or so and put a flat screen TV above the fireplace.

Very warm and inviting. You did a great job making a "house" into a home. You achieved everything you set out to do; in my opinion. What a great home for your daughter to grow up in and have fond memories of.
