About This Remodel

This is a 35 year old 2-story that we gutted and made some up dates to a traditional style home. We built it to stay and then got the bug to build new. Here are just a few ideas that you can do to make yours fresh. I put it on paper and Les from L&M Remodeling put much of it to reality. Much thanks to Les for his outstanding craftsmanship! This house sold in one week kind of a bitter sweet thing.

Amazing. Your fireplace is inspiring me to remodel. We have outdated bookcases which flank the side. The extension of the mantel through the bookshelves is awesome! Now....if I can only convince the hubby!!

To Stargazer I don't recall the actual color although I can tell you that it was A Ralph Luaren color purchased from Home Depot. We have them scan the color chip and mix it in Behr interior flat base. The floor stain was a custom mix of a cherry stain and dark walnut but I don't know what exact ratios that they used. There are many stains out there that are pretty close and the picture is pretty accurate to the real thing.
