Thanks for all the nice comments. I moved my cat Buddy three times trying to take this photo of the patio, but he just kept coming back to this spot. He follows me around everywhere...hence his name. I have two others. One sleeps on the chair in my bedroom all day long! The other one only likes me when he is hungry. You can't win them all!

This is a great space! Thanks for visiting my golf course garden. I love round seating areas like this. I was thinking of creating something like this under my big ash tree. It would have to be smaller than yours, and I'd use stone pavers to keep continuity with the rest of my space, but I think I could catch the feel of relaxation you've created. Thanks for the inspiration.
