  • Amazing Kitchen, Complete overhaul! We maximized the space by taking down a wall and raising the ceiling. We removed dark floors and replaced with travertine. All new custom cabinets were installed with beautiful green and brown granite countertops. The vent hood is also a custom piece. The island is a beautiful furniture piece also., Kitchens

  • From tacky and tired to open and airy, From the drop ceiling with fluorescent lighting to the icky laminate cabinets and stained vinyl flooring, this kitchen needed a lot of love. We tore out the wall separating the kitchen and dining room as well as the drop ceiling. We installed recessed lighting, new cabinets, Corian counters (shopped from Craigslist!) and a farmhouse sink. We finished it up with a glass and slate backsplash and a slate tile floor. If we were able to stay in the house longer, we would have replaced the refrigerator and range with stainless., Kitchens

  • 1983 Sponge-painted kitchen to Updated Traditional, We took a traditional 1983 home with it's outdated decor and transformed it into a clean lined, updated, traditional kitchen. We replaced white tile/cobalt grout with NEW White Ice travertine. Kept the white Bosche double ovens and cooktop, purchased new streamline Kitchen Aide refrigerator , dishwasher and compactor. Added white panels to the new appliances to match the newly painted cabinets (& their newly added trim) to make everything flow! We will change out all the electrical boxes, switches and covers to white ASAP!, Kitchens

  • Fun Kitchen Paint, I changed the old contractor grade cabinets by painting them a very pale blue that is almost gray and the walls green. Appliances are new and black. I love the green because in low light it appears almost golden. Still need new counters and floors, but happy so far., Kitchens

  • From Sterile to Warm, We built our house in 2000 but opted for all the bump outs and thought we would do the finishes we wanted later. So the summer of 2008 while I was 7 months pregnant.... we demo'd the entire first floor.... all carpet, wood foyer, kitchen, everything had to go! I measured and ordered everything.... hubby let me have free range! Since I was pregnant we did hire a handyman to help my hubby with the install. We went from white with green laminate counters to cherry & rustic black knotty alder cabinets and amendoim wood floors. All Viking appliances were either floor models from showrooms, refurbished from eBay or auction purchases... I only paid around $5,000 for all the Viking. Pic doesn't show the fridge that we just bought, we upgraded to a french door Samsung with tablet wi-fi. Brazilan granite counters & backsplash with under cabinet lighting., Kitchens

  • Country Heritage Kitchen, We began by knocking out a wall that separated the kitchen and dining room. The refrigerator was placed in this wall as well. Then we ripped out all the cabinets. There was laminate, on top of linoleum, on top of the beautiful fir hardwood (like the rest of the house). We cleaned all the flooring, sanded, verathaned. The floors turned out great! A little rough in certain spots in the kitchen, but part of the country heritage look. The fridge was put where the old sink was, and the sink was put on the other side of the kitchen, underneath a window.... where sinks belong! We put in white cabinets, buther block countertops, a stainless steel sink, with a beautiful dark rubbed bronze faucet. The chandelier we put in the dining room matched the color of the faucet and the style of the home. Next to the fridge and pantry there was a perfect size spot for a 1930's fridgidaire I picked up for $150 (non working), but a great cupboard space because it matches the white cabinets and old silver hardware on the exterior of the fridge matches the brushed stainless steel hardware on cabinets. We savored a leftover piece of the butcher block countertop and put it on top of an old singer sewing machine base that my neighbor gave to me! , Kitchens

  • 70's disaster turned elegant and spacious, Our home is a 3800 square feet traditional style home. The room sizes are very large however the kitchen was tiny! My husbands company doubled the size and modernized it while keeping some of the traditional vibe. It now has many hidden secrets like silent shut cabinets and drawers and lots of pull outs. It was lots of work. New drywall, plumbing, converting from electric to gas and moving a half bathroom. We also put new hardwood floors in with a high shine gloss. We put lots of hard work into it and hope you enioy it as much as we do!, Kitchens
