About This Remodel
Our house was built in 1956. Our kitchen had been face lifted before we move into it 21 years ago. But boy did it need a total redo. We had very little counter space and every room was so closed off from the others. So we decided to take down the load bearing wall between the kitchen and diningroom and open it all up. We even decided to get new tile in the front hall and new carpet throughout the house. Now we have the house of our dreams; we more than doubled the counter space and cabinet space, and have in floor heat under the gorgeous wood look porcelian tile in the kitchen and dining room. We're ready for another 20 years here.
