About This Remodel
Our house was built 30 years ago and the rooms were small. We had a U shaped kitchen that opened up to the dining room. There was a small opening in the wall to the small living room. We demolished the wall between the living room and the kitchen. We also demolished the "pony wall" between the dining room, and overlooking the entry, we replaced the pony wall with posts and rod iron rail, for a more open feel. We added an island with a breakfast bar. The new walnut cabinets were completely re-configured for maximum effienciency. We refaced the fireplace and installed Brazilian Cherry Hardwood in the entie space. We added island lights and flush mount pot lights.
