About This Remodel
We pushed the peninsula out about 8 feet and added space to our kitchen. Added new cabinets, countertops and 2nd oven. My husband did all work except the electrical and countertops. Love the mosaic behind the stove and chandeliers for added variety, tried to achieve a modern but cozy feel. I saved money by getting 2nd oven, micro and field tile off Craigslist, i also found a butcher block coffee table I cut up and used as a countertop in one area.
