![St. Vincent de Gore Theater, Garage space converted into a home theater. We did it all from walls out, including the design of the 'rock' walls. Backstory for the room is that it is a converted dungeon, hence the NeoGoth look, and the name comes from our mutual fondness for Vincent Price and going to the local St. Vincent de Paul thrift stores as children., The process of doing the 'rock' walls: a) draw a level line about 3 feet off the floor around the room; b) draw 'stones' of irregular rectangular shapes in pencil; c) paint the 'grout' over the penciled in lines; d) mask the grout lines with auto body masking tape 1/4" wide; e) roller brush texture medium [heavy spackle] over the entire wall; f) paint the rock color on top of the entire wall.
