About This Remodel

This is my home office that is almost complete. I wanted a slight oriental influence with all the calming effects that goes along with it. I carried on the granite from the built-in desk top to the window seals just as I did in the dinning room. Please for give the wire from the TV it is now in the wall and yes the recliner is going.

Beautiful! Love the granite. But how do you go about putting it for the window sills? Do you just have the granite people come in and you say, I want it here, here, and on these windows sills??

I think that you definitely achieved your goals of calming with an asian feel. I love the colors you used, especially the green on the walls. I wish that I knew what color of green you used! The granite on the desk top and on the window sills brought the asian feel throughout the room. Great job!

It's amazing what a little granite and a fresh coat of paint can do...great job I never thought to put granite as a desk top but it's definitely something I'd like to do now...great space!
