Our tired and bleached out house exterior got a little lift this summer. With a little paint and elbow grease we turned boring into car-stopping fabulous! Cars actually did stop to look... We painted the front door a rich cranberry red, the trim was painted a high gloss white, the shutters were painted a shiny black, and the concrete stoop got a coat of dark gray concrete stain with the wet look seal. We also got new door hardware, doorbell, and led lights. But that's it! Everything cost around $500 and was done in one weekend. The hardware was selling for over $200 at my local hardware store, but I got it on eBay for $60!
