About This Remodel

This house was a 1923 simple Italianate style that was so boring it was hardly noticeable when driving by. I painted a 2 layer 13 color waterstain using simple exterior paint. 1st layer was done with 5 shades of grey and moss green. The passer by's were very curious as to what I was doing. The progress looked quite awful. I designed and installed the hand poured cement walls/columns. The iron on the walls was forged to match the existing original iron skirting under the windows. Window canopies were existing I just painted them black and cream with exterior house paint after scrubbing and cleaning them.

Outstanding. I wish there was a follow you button because you're so inspiring. So many people hire out their jobs, but you are a true diy-er and so are we. -My husband and me. Sweat Equity is the only way to go.
-We use to live in Riverside. (La Sierra Grew up there but moved to NorCal 15 years ago.

tiffany...your talent leaves me speechless-you have taken my breath away. i looked at all of your rooms and i am in love with your style. you have worked so hard it is unbelievable. you have truly given your daughter a priceless gift that most of us can only dream of...you passed your talent on to her! wow...wow...wow...! please, please email me at catsway37@aol.com because we are getting ready to experiment with the stucco on the outside of our home to give it waterstains like yours but i am worried that the texture is too unforgiving to work with-don't i have to use a rag...i need advice and you are the perfect person to help me. WOW is right! I can't believe the amount of time you must have put in, just in painting the house. I painted the outside trim & porch on mine and it took practically all summer. But your efforts were certainly worthwhile...the end result is gorgeous. Your gardens are breathtaking. There are so many areas to take in. What a wonderful home!

So stunning! Here I am struggling to give you a WOW 5 stars, but this system seems to "under rate" for some reason. You certainly do have quite a bit of energy & creativity. I hope you bought this place for a "song" considering the time & money you've invested. Movie location agents would love to catch this one!
