This is what the Arts and Crafts movement was all about. Getting away from "cookie cutter" and mass produced homes and art. This is truely a masterpiece!

I'm thinking of painting the living room. Any suggestions? I was thinking maybe a coffee color.

Thanks! Actually the wall color is Benjamin Moore's Shaker Beige. It does look a bit white in the picture but it's actually a light coffee/beige color

Gorgeous home incredible detail! It must have been so difficult to find a real craftsman to build those interlocking stairs and fireplace details. The only thing I would even Consider changing is the wall color: is that white? An earth tone would make the space even cozier than it already feels - even just an off-white. I love that you borrowed from the Greene Brothers and yet made the details your own. I wish I had the opportunity to do that myself. Kuddos to you!

I love your house and am SOOOO jealous. We bought a 1930's bungalow (though not arts and crafts and with limited time and mostly limited budget I am trying to make it into a warm and cozy craftman looking house. I really appreciate you and your carpenters amazing attention to detail...it is really wonderful work and someday I hope my home will be as charming as yours. Great job!

I checked the color of the pillows and throw and they match exactly with the geisha in the photo on the back so it's just a bad picture. The pillows throw sofa and chair are all from Restoration Hardware.
