About This Remodel

I am naturally a bit messy so I wanted to create a closet that was highly organized and worked based on how I used things on an every day basis. The deep green color on the wall is the accent wall color in my bedroom and this closet sits right next to that wall so it worked out perfectly! I put a "closet within a closet" behind mirrored doors and hide stuff I don't use behind those doors. I put a stool in the closet so I can dress and undress (and put on my shoes in there. I really love the new space!

I was totally thinking marriage proposal and then I read the post before this one....HILLARIOUS!!!!! I'm married anyway, so that's out of the question, but can I have you talk to my husband???!!! I have a closet similar to this with built in drawers, shelves and even pull-out shelves for the shoes, built in hamper and all, but do you think my husband knows how to use it? I guess he'd need to be single to appreciate it. Anyway, you have done a fantastic job with this!! And I'm sure even now you've thought of other ways to make it even better. Functionality is the key word and you've definitely achieved it. Great space!!!

haha marriage proposals! thats awesome! men: no need for eharmony! just put up ur closets on HGTV and you'll know what the ladies think of you!!!lol
but no seriously..I'm totally drooling over this closet as well! ESPECIALLY seeing how ordinary it was before. If I had only see the "after" pics the effect would not have been the same. I would have assumed it was some lavish closet to begin with. So Goood JOb! you have turned an ordinary nightmarish closet into a beautiful work of art really! I love the functionality and also your personal touches. I realize to some they might seem to be a waste of potential storage space but if you dont really need it then i think it was a great way to utilize it! 5 stars all the way!

Great advice! Thanks for the wonderful response-
I just keep dreaming of this AWESOME closet and HAD to come back to visit it... God was sooooooooooooo sweet and helped me loose 85 pounds - took a year and a half of prayer prayer prayer and water aerobics but they are off and I soooooooooooooooo want to reward myself with a closet like this - Right now I only have a few things that fit but it is COOL to only have a few things that fit because everything is to BIG for once in my life : haha -
