About This Remodel

As part of our Master Suite renovation we converted our unused formal living room into a 12ft x 12ft walk in closet. Ten foot ceilings, soffits and crown molding are a bit much for a closet but it did come out great. We used an on-line closet company called Easy Closet and it worked out great. Look at the master bath conversion also posted under "LeeDock"

This is just what I was looking for. I am planning to close in my formal dining room which is behind my masterbath, open up the wall from the bath and have a door to my new walk in closet just like yours! I'm also using the existing closet in my bedroom to add more footage to my bedroom and masterbath. I hope mine turns out as well as yours did!!!

I absolutely love this, it's beautiful. We did something similar after the kids moved out. Although we have a very small house, 3 very small bedrooms (maybe 10x10 we turned one of the rooms into a "dressing room". Mine isn't nearly as lovely just the wire rack kind of shelving, but it works out well especially since the dinky closet in our master bed would not absolutely hold all my clothes let alone my husbands. Good job,.

Thanks for sharing. Our current floor plan has master closets like your original plan. We have a sitting room off the master that we are thinking of converting to closet space. Not sure if we want to fully give it up for closet space or try to save part of it for my office.

Looks great! This is the idea I am tring to sell my husband . We have a sitting area in our master, that has become more about storage. Then we could repurpose the closet in our bathroom to more bathroom space! Thanks for the example to show my husband.
