About This Remodel

The house was built in 1956 and we moved in just under a year ago. This full bathroom is on the main living floor; there is a full master bath downstairs. All tile and fixtures are original; all we changed was the wall color and added the accessories. Before the yellow the room felt cold and cavernous. Not any more!

Wow! Fantastic retro bathroom. You deserve your own show on HGTV! I am so sick of seeing bathroom remodeling shows that just gut a room to studs. Anyone can design or remodel with a clean slate. You worked with older tile color and added a new bold bright accent color. Now this room shows true talent. I have simular vintage bathroom, 1948. My old bathroom has gray and maroon tiles with white fixtures. You inspired me!
