About This Remodel

This is our one and only small bathroom in our 1930's twin home. It was a total gut job and we spent evenings and weekends a total of 2 months to completely re-do this room. We are always inspired by Pottery Barn so got some ideas from there. Wanted to add--the paint color is Buxton Blue by Benjamin Moore. Enjoy! Thanks to everyone who have left such glowing comments!!! Never would we have thought our little bathroom would get such rave reviews. We just added a few before pics!

Very nice. The floor plan is similar to our 1950's bath. Im immitation is the best form of flattery ... stay tuned. I plan on using some of your ideas. I love the sink ....

Well done!! This bathroom is beautiful! I love the clean lines mixed with the vintage (or would it be cottage? feel. This bathroom is definitely appropriate in a 1930's home, but feels updated and young.

Stunning! Very clean and crisp looking. We have similar tastes but I think my after actually looks more like your before! lol Subway tile and white medicine cabinets. You did a beautiful job! My home is also from the 30's. What is a twin home? I'm not familiar with that term.... but I have twins! lol

Nice job. I like the wainscot and the blue walls. The one thing that I might have changed would be to go with a lighter wood vanity, to follow the beach theme more than black. But overall, I do like the look.
